U-16 and U-14: Sharan Soni (Millfield) with a grading performance of 148.
U-13 and U-12: Kells Stanton (Yeovil) with a grading performance of 82.

There will be a bookstall provided by CCF Mindgames.
There will be refreshments available on the premises.

Cheques should be made payable to "Yeovil Chess Congress".
There will also be a prize of £50 for the best combined score by a genuine club or school team of four players.
The organizers reserve the right to alter prizes; any alterations will be posted at the event.
ECF Direct Members, including Standard members, may claim a discount of £2 from their entry fee, as may players aged under 18 on 1st September 2005. These discounts are cumulative.
Entries posted after 8th June will be subject to a £2 Late Entry Fee.
Somerset Junior Championships
The Somerset U-18, U-16, U-14, U-13 and U-12 titles will be awarded to the eligible player with the highest grading performance from the tournament. Ages as of 1st September 2006 are used. Players may win more than one of these titles. The usual eligibility criteria for counties apply; these will be posted at the event.

The time limit will be 40 moves in 1 hour 40 minutes, with a 20 minute allegro finish afterwards.
Re-pairings will, if necessary, take place half an hour after the start of play.
Players who arrive between half an hour and an hour late who cannot be re-paired will receive a half-point bye.
Players who arrive more than an hour late will lose their game by default.
